NEW STRAITS TIMES: Remaja Semangat Pejuang prevail

3 Apr: Remaja Semangat Pejuang beat SK Puchong Indah 2-1 to win the Under-12 title in their fourth try at the Milo Hidup Bola Futsal Carnival in Senawang, Negri Sembilan on Saturday.

In a fast-paced Under-16 final, Game Breakers from Klang played to a 2-2 draw with Sepang's Kartallah FC. Game Breakers went on to win the penalty shoot-out. A total of 78 teams participated in both the categories.

The carnival, comprising 14 legs, will be held in each state every weekend climaxing with the grand finals on July 7 where the top 32 teams from each category will compete for a mouth-watering prize of RM15,000.

The runners-up will get RM10,000 while the third and fourth placed teams will receive RM7,000 each.

The fifth leg will be held on April 13 at the 'A' Sports Arena, Jalan Klebang Besar, Malacca.
